PARTICIPATION PRIVACY

Tell us less. Make it count.

How Glucose Gossip handles information across participation, submissions and email.

01

Resource submissions

We collect organization details, official evidence links and submitter contact details so editors can verify a suggested resource and send transactional review updates. Raw submissions and private verification notes are not public. Submitting a resource never joins the marketing list.

02

Newsletter signups

We collect an email address, optional first name, signup source and consent timestamp only after explicit marketing consent. Subscribers can unsubscribe automatically. Newsletter status is kept to honour that choice.

03

Volunteer applications

Contact and participation details are used only to assess, schedule and manage the activity someone volunteered for. Volunteer participation does not create newsletter consent.

04

Listening Lab participation

Responses, optional broad location and the selected consent choices are used to improve resources and report grouped themes. Anonymous participation does not store a name or email. Raw submissions are not public.

05

Outdated-information reports

We collect the affected page, issue details and an optional reply email so editors can investigate. Reports never change public Access Navigator data automatically.

06

Retention, access and deletion

Pending operational records are retained while needed for review, audit, safety and governance. Approved public resource facts may remain published while current. Requests to access or delete personal contact information may be sent to glucosegossiphub@gmail.com.

07

What we avoid

Do not submit glucose readings, insulin doses, clinical records, passwords, identity documents, medical files, private staff details or information that identifies another patient.

08

Email boundaries

Submission receipts, clarification requests and review decisions are transactional. Marketing campaigns go only to separately opted-in subscribers and always include an unsubscribe link.

Raw submissions, contact details and internal verification notes remain private and are available only to authorized administrators.
